The EKI-5525/I and EKI-5528/I are the world’s first convergence switches for process control and IT networking management. This series uses Modbus/TCP to communicate with the SCADA software and SNMP to communicate with the NMS (Networking Management System) at the same time, thereby allowing full read control over the devices either for control engineers or for IT. The devices come with the Port-based QoS for deterministic data transmission allows the priority ports to prioritize the traffic coming over those ports and delay the less immediately necessary data over the remaining ports. EKI-5525/I and EKI-5528/I switches use the highest quality components, to enable the range to operate in temperatures of between -40 and 75°C along with Level 3 EMS protection to repel electromagnetic interface for industrial resistance.

Advantech's UNO-2362G has daisy-chain network capabilities, the new modular iDoor technology, and a new AMD dual core processor. The network daisy-chain technology allows users to connect to and configure multiple ADAM modules to create star networks without the need to use a network switch.
Advantech’s new iDoor technology is a new modular way of adding functions to the UNO-2362G. Modules for iDoor systems include: fieldbus protocol; memory expansion and storage; digital and analog I/O; WAN, MAN and LAN communications with Wi-FI, GPS, GPRS and LTE; ancillary modules such as temperature, brightness, smart meters and others.

Advantech launches the a very rugged (-20 to +70 deg C), compact, CE-based computer with built in I/O the ECU-1911 all-in-one RTU (remote terminal unit). This new device combines all of the benefits of control, communications, and computing into a single unit. The ECU-1911, with a Microsoft® Windows® CE 5.0 operating system, has been specifically designed to be an open development platform as it combines the Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 software development kit and DAQNavi SDK; a single integrated software package for programmers to develop their data acquisition application programs. It provides DAQ libraries, examples, and documents to help engineers focus on their domain application development and hardware configuration testing.
The ECU-1911 comes with a low power consuming Xscale PXA-270 520 MHz RISC processor and provides versatile isolated I/O’s including eight channel 16-bit analog input, 32 channel digital input, and 32 channel digital relay output. It also comes with three RS-485 isolated ports, one RS-232 port, two Ethernet ports, and one USB port. All of this fits neatly into compact size and is designed to be either mounted on a DIN-rail or a wall.
This exciting new all-in-one device can perform complicated processes required for remote automation needs such as smart substation and harsh environment monitoring application since the infrastructure combines I/O’s, VGA, USB and isolated I/O’s into a single compact unit.
